Dog & Cat have a way of getting into one’s heart

Alfie

I was delighted to receive this review from a client:

I cannot believe how lucky I was to come across Arianna when looking for some help with puppy training. Having never had a puppy before I was completely naive to the work that is required to create a loving, well trained family pet. I had no idea what to expect and honestly thought it would be a ‘text book’ approach on how to get the dog to sit, stay and walk on the lead…I could not have been more wrong!

Arianna took the time to learn about me and my family, understand our wants and needs for the new puppy (Portuguese Water Dog), and most importantly gained the immediate trust from the puppy, Alfie, almost immediately. After her first visit to the house, my husband called her the ‘dog whisperer!’ The obedience Alfie had when Arianna was around in the early days was amazing to watch and quickly helped build my confidence!

Arianna’s style is relaxed and she makes you feel at ease (even when things don’t go too well) yet she has a manner that makes you want to do the homework assigned so she when she returns for her next visit, you and the puppy can show her that the hard work has paid off!

Letting Alfie off the lead in a park was my biggest fear, yet with Arianna’s soft but strong encouragement, after only a few visits to the local park with her I now regularly take Alfie to the park and let him off the lead to play with other dogs!

I did not understand the importance of dog socialisation in the early days of puppyhood, and Arianna coached me through the pros and cons of this and helped both Alfie and I build trust and confidence in each other to make outings to the park fun!

I honestly cannot recommend Arianna highly enough. Every time we are out people mention what a beautiful, well trained (most of the time!) puppy Alfie is and I firmly believe I have Arianna to thank for that!!

When we adopt a dog or a cat, it becomes a member of the family. It has a special connection with us which is hard to explain.  But these creatures have a way of getting into one’s heart. When I look after a pet for someone, I am looking after a piece of their heart.  They trust me.  For this reason I feel so privileged, and I try to do my best to gain the right information, and to give the right advice. I thank all those who have given me their trust.  You can’t buy trust – it’s a fundamental prerequisite for a relationship of quality. Thank you so much.

All the Best,
